García Cumini was born out of the meeting of two cultures – Italian and Spanish – where creativity, beauty, and joie de vivre are fundamental values. Founded in 2012 by Vicente García Jiménez and Cinzia Cumini, two complementary personalities in work and life, the studio is built on the concept of Slow Design. They take time to understand the lifestyle of users and analyse technical innovations and production processes to fully exploit their potential. The result is long-lasting designs that balance emotion and function, art and technology. García Cumini works across product design, art direction, and temporary architecture, collaborating with brands like Agape, Cesar, Foscarini, Poltrona Frau, and Zanotta. The studio received an Honorable Mention at the XXII Compasso d’Oro for their ‘Infinity project’.
